Common questions
Where should a small business start with AI?
With one or two repetitive tasks that eat time every week, such as replying to common enquiries or writing up quotes. Start small, check the results, then add more.
Is our data safe in ChatGPT, Copilot or Claude?
The business plans of ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Claude don't use your data to train their models by default. Free personal accounts can. We help you choose the right plan and set rules for what goes in.
Which AI tool should we pay for?
If your business runs on Microsoft 365, Copilot fits in with what you already use. Otherwise ChatGPT or Claude. We'll suggest one after seeing how you work, and starting with one is fine.
Is AI training suitable for non-technical staff?
Yes. Sessions use your team's own tasks and plain language, and nobody needs to know how the technology works underneath.
Can government funding help with AI training?
The Regional Business Partner Network can co-fund some training for businesses with fewer than 50 staff, and its AI Advisory Pilot co-funds AI projects until June 2027. Talk to your local growth advisor about what applies to you.
What if AI isn't worth it for us?
Then we'll tell you. The first step is finding tasks where it saves real time. If there aren't enough of them, you'll have found that out cheaply.
